About Me

Most days, you’ll find me in jeans and a hoodie, working at the kitchen table and drinking a Diet Coke. Raising kids and cattle, and being outside are my thing. In my spare time, I’m watching my three kids compete in sports and show cattle, plus making grand plans to travel the world. I’m a storyteller, list maker, chips and salsa connoisseur and all around farm girl.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and live a mile from the farm I grew up on.

I am making plans to visit all 48 contiguous states in an motorhome some day.

I have detailed spreadsheets planning road trip itineraries to my bucket list travel destinations (Glacier National Park, Utah/Arizona/Colorado national parks, and the Canadian Rockies are at the top of my list).

I could eat chips & salsa and Diet Coke for pretty much every meal.

I dream of writing a book.

If I could meet one person, dead or alive, it would be Laura Ingalls Wilder.

My best day starts with Jesus and coffee.

I usually read at least a book a week.

My go to outfit is jeans and a hoodie or flannel shirt.

I have my best ideas when I’m driving… and I spend a lot of time driving.

I am learning astrophotography… each summer my Milky Way shots get a little better.

I use spreadsheets to plan anything and everything.

I converted to Catholicism in my early forties. I don’t know why I waited so long.

When I’m not running kids, going to sports events, or rounding up baby calves, you can find me on the leadership team at a local manufacturing plant.
